{Rules}

Respect the staff. We uphold this rule very strictly. If you have a problem with a staff member PM that staff member and explain to them what he/she did to cause you to become irate.
Follow the character creation rules. We can tell by your app if you have if you have read the rules or not. If it is obvious you have not then the staff has the right to deny your app.
Use our Template. It keeps the character section looking uniformed.
We have a zero drama tolerance policy. We do not care about what happened to you today, yesterday, or last week. We do not like to hear you complain, however we do wish to get to know our rpers. If you need someone to talk to PM that person.
Please post in our absence thread if you will be away for longer than a week. Especially if you have any open threads, leaving your fellow rpers hanging is just mean, bro.
We give you two weeks to come and reclaim your OC before we archive them. Activity checks are held every other week!
Try to follow a timeline. Please remember our word minimum of 200 words. This is not over the top. I feel like everyone can make it to this mark with minimal effort. If found that you are posting under the limit, you will be warned and if you do not fix the post it will be deleted! No text talking in threads. NO ONE LINERS!! I WILL MAIM YOU I SWEAR! Do not hop in someones thread unannounced. Asked first unless the person has labeled the thread as open.
Activity is a must. While it's understandable that sometimes a person's muse runs low or a post just might be difficult to reply to, participating in a thread with other people means just that - you participate. It's not fair to the others in the thread if you join and then suddenly leave or become inactive, and while it will largely be up to the people involved the site will have a generally accepted deadline for posts. Once your turn comes up in the posting order, you will have three days until the other participants will be free to skip your turn as they see fit - should this happen during a fight, your character may be subject to whatever damage or affects that came with the last attack, just as if they had made no move to dodge or block it. People who have posted in the Absences board will usually be exempt from the second half of this rule.
While it may seem like common sense, NO godmodding, powerplaying or metagaming. Normally one might think that this would be common sense, but common sense is, ironically, not all that common. A character will never dodge every single attack while having all of theirs hit unless there is a severe gap in character skill levels, and even then that is pushing it. If you are caught doing so you will be warned. While powerplaying and godmodding are usually limited to combat scenarios, though, metagaming can happen anywhere and will be treated just as carefully. A character cannot know a piece of information without having learned it In Character first unless it is generally common knowledge - if this pertains to the past of another character, ask the player first.
While the Zone is an area where many of the normal rules regarding continuity do not apply and consequences are not permenant, it is seperate from the main RP area for a reason. The Zone is treated much like a Games area, which means it has no impact on the main story or character sub plots, and it is for that reason we ask that you do not exclusively post in it - without activity in the main RP area, plots will slow and stop, something that we do not want to happen. Enjoy the Zone, but please do not abuse it.
Please make sure your avatars are ALL 100x100. I realize that the board will resize them for you, but I would appreciate it if you used a picture already at that size. Images are not hard to resize, if you need help, contact me and I will do it for you.
Use common sense when posting, meaning, do not post in one thread set during a specific time and then post in another thread set in the same time. If you don't know why then leave. Seriously, no one can be in two places at once.
